Frequently Asked Questions for Our Clients

What is Eyebrows Permanent Makeup?

The treatment involves the application of pigment into the skin. This is the most amazing, incredibly popular, beauty-enhancing procedure! It highlights, reshapes and refills your existing eyebrows. First the new shape is customised to fit in with your face features and your standards when is possible. Appropriate pigment is selected for your skin tone. Nothing is injected into your skin without your consent. We coordinate for this as a team and my only goal is to make you look beautiful.

Does Eyeliner need Touch up?

YES IT DOES!

Please do not book if you are not able to attend the touch up session. It is very hard to predict how much retention you will have from the first treatment and that's why touch up is mandatory. Cosmetic tattoo can be considered complete only after the touch up visit.

How long does it take for Lip Blush to heal?

Your lips will heal between 4 to 7 days, and 4 to 8 weeks for the true colour to come through. If you have ever had a cold sore it is essential to take a preventative medication recommended by a healthcare professional. Some pharmacists recommend Flamvr (anti viral medication). However, the treatment may also provoke an outbreack of coldsore therefore, a prophylactic antiviral medication is higly recommended.

Is it Permanent Makeup painful?

To minimise any discomfort a numbing cream will be apply also, it is recommended that you check-in “pre-numbed” with Emla cream available at any pharmacy. Applying this numbing cream one hour prior to the appointment so we will be able to begin the treatment immediately.

Does my skin type determine the healed outcome?

Yes it does. Oily skin types must exfoliate well before an appointment. For best results please do this for up to 7 days prior. Oily skin types will soften the pigment in the skin more so than dryer skin types. Oily skin may require more frequent colour boosts as they are likely to fade quicker. Hairstrokes will hold much better and crisper in dry skin and are less likely to fade as quickly as someone with oily skin.

Do you do Top and Bottom Eyeliner?

I do perform only top eyeliner

Do my natural eyebrows need to be shaved off?

I normally work between your natural hair but if necessary I can trim them to tidy up the shape

What will I look like straight after the treatment of Cosmetic Tattoo?

Immediately after your first sitting, be prepared for the pigment color to be significantly bolder and darker as the outer layer gets oxidated. By the 2nd week the pigment will have its intensity faded out up to 30-40%.

Once your treatment is completed you will have your desired look, lasting you up to 12 months. A touch up every 10-12 months is recommended to keep color fresh and perfect shape.

Procedure done 2 years after or 3-4 years after are considered as new treatment and two sittings may be required.

Does the Booking Cosmetic Tattoo's include a retouch?

YES, Cosmetic eyebrows tattoo procedure normally requires at least one top up session 4-6 weeks after your initial application. This is when we can perfect your initial treatment giving you the choice to go darker and thicker, make the color warmer/cooler, depending on how you have healed.

Cosmetic Tattoo- Can I wear Makeup after the treatment? What's the after care?

Aftercare – For the first 10-14 days the brows need to be kept clean which means no makeup, no creams or balms and no sweaty exercise.

You can wear mineral makeup however, you need to wait until the treatment area has healed before wearing traditional cosmetics. If applying traditional cosmetics elsewhere, ensure you don’t cover the treated area, as this could lead to healing problems.

Eyebrow tattoo is typically used to enhance your natural features, therefore after your treatment has healed, you can wear makeup to complement and enhance your permanent cosmetics.

Cosmetic Tattoo- How quickly will it heal?

Everyone is different, but as a general rule the surface skin generally heals between 3-7 days after the treatment, and 10-14 days below the surface

How long does Eyeliner last?

Between 3 to 5 years

It is reccommended to have Permanent Makeup before any Cosmetic Injectable procedures. If you are planning to have Cosmetic injectable before Permanent Makeup, you should wait at least 4 weeks post or prior.

Can I correct my shape with LipBlush Tattoo?

Subtle corrections can be made to thin, uneven or asymmetrical lips. Creases around the mouth are instantly camouflaged. However, due to the different skin tissues between lips and its surrounding skin, only minor adjustment are allowed therefore the majority of the treatment is performed within your natural lip shape

Which technique do you use-Machine or Microblade?

To perform the treatment I use a digital device which gives more control for the shaping of the individual hairstroke. This process ensure no scar tissue from forming in fact the micro perforation to the skin does not give skin trauma but has a faster healing with better pigment retention and results.

All products  used are single use and fully sterile.

Cosmetic Tattoo-How long will last?

This varies from person to person because skin type, genetics and environmental factors can all contribute to how long the pigments will be retained.

As a guide, it could be anything between one to five years before a new treatment is required, although refresher colour boosts are recommended for maintenance during this time. Once the colour starts to change you will know that you are ready for your refresher colour boost.
